Note: Al naso note di prugna bianca, tabacco sul finire, pepe nero, more di bosco, liquirizia. Gusto ricco, corposo ed elegante. Tannini morbidi e vellutati.

From the sunniest vineyard slice, from the innovative spirit of the Antinori family, from one of the most suitable areas in Cortona for the cultivation of quality Syrah, Bramasole is born, a wine capable of evolving over time and telling, according to a new variety, a territory with an ancient winemaking tradition. The first vintage of Bramasole produced was 2000. 
Vinification & Aging: Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes were destemmed and gently pressed. The must was transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature of 28 °C. Maceration lasted for about 15 days and was managed with soft mechanical interventions aimed at extracting the aromatic component and sweet, non-astringent tannins. The wine was transferred to French oak barrels where it underwent malolactic fermentation first, which occurred in second-passage woods, and then aging for about 12 months, carried out in both new and second-passage woods. Bottling took place in the spring.
